Job title: Sales and Operations Assistant

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Working Hours: 30 Hours

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, well-rounded and enthusiastic individual to join us and work across the Operations and Sales teams. Our ideal candidate will be a team player, a confident communicator and have an overall positive approach to work. You will be required to provide support and assistance to the Production Manager and Senior Sales Executive when required. This job will have variety – no two days will be the same. When working with the Operations team, you will be required to report to the Production Manager and help with all aspects of production and shipping. In the Sales Department you will report to the Senior Sales Executive and assist with a wide variety of tasks in a busy sales office.

Your tasks will include -

  • Sales and administration support to the Sales Executives

  • Providing high levels of customer service including (but not limited to) answering queries by telephone, website or email and taking orders and payments

  • Liaising with couriers to sort our customer queries

  • Assisting the Production Manager in all production tasks as required

  • Ensuring all stock produced is to the highest standards

  • Booking in of all goods accurately into our management software, with a physical count and testing against specification where required

  • Ensure any non-conformance are reported and documented in accordance with company procedures

  • Providing timely feedback to the Production Manager regarding any problems or faults

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new ideas for continuous improvement within Operations

  • Franking and printing of mail for posting

  • Packing and shipping of finished product

  • Assisting with stock takes as required

  • Good general IT skills – proficiency with MS Office

  • Friendly and flexible approach to all tasks
