This battery powered tester has earned an excellent reputation for its simplicity, reliability and value for money. Now they will be repaired free of charge too. Simply return the testers to the company for its annual calibration to qualify for this Lifetime Warranty.
“Every BattPAT is proudly assembled and quality checked at our factory in York. We are so confident of our stringent checks and the robustness of the product that we wanted to pass on these benefits to all our customers” said Managing Director Seggy Segaran. “I was tired of hearing all the stories in the media about the death of British manufacturing. Our Lifetime Warranty is a bold statement about how we can make good quality products in Britain.”
Sales Manager Karen Chelin is quick to point out that manufacturing in Britain does not have to mean high prices. “The BattPAT is one of the lowest cost PAT testers on the market. We can compete with any imported product on price without compromising on quality” says Karen.
Both the industrial and electronic designs were carried out by British companies. All the main components used in the BattPAT are sourced locally, keeping the supply chain short and minimising any risks to production. The extrusion is manufactured in Lancashire, the rubber end caps are moulded in Teesside, all the metalwork is manufactured in Leeds and the product manufactured in Yorkshire.
“We were inspired by examples in the car industry” says Seggy. “Companies like Hyundai were offering a 5 year warranty and Kia was offering a 7 year warranty. Even Vauxhall have started offering a lifetime warranty. However there are no catches with our offer. The warranty is transferable if the unit is sold on” adds Seggy.
